I'm one of those people that needs to talk out my feelings, but sometimes I can get disrespectful by the way I word it when I get too wrapped up in my emotions, instead of rationality. *I'm a young adult who lives at home.* I just asked my mom if we could try to use a safe word for when I'm going too far to her, to help me snap out of attitude and reassess. I have high hopes that it will help me better manage how I adress things, without accidentally getting too wound up and hurting my parents feelings with my words in the heat of the moment. I want to improve as a person, and this can help me.
